LAFQUEN DE TEMUCO

Lafquen is a Full Chilean of the Argentine type and was purchased from Chile in the 2001 Temuco Project Importation of Paul & Sally Taylor and the Von Baer's. This seven year old male was chosen because of his color, size, stretch, conformation and fiber. He was shown in Chile and was the Chilean Grand Champion Male of 2000. All of Lafquen's get have been flashy paints except two. He passes on to his get size, good bone, correct conformation and outstanding temperments. Lafquen is the only sire with these particular blood lines in the USA because his dam is still in Chile with the Von Baer's. Lafquen's sire is the famous Llanero De Temuco previously owned by the Taylor's and the Rolfing's, currently owned by Rick & Darlene Matthiesen of Diamond D Llamas in Bandera, Texas.
